SYNOPSIS

Have you heard of Tamamo no Mae? A white nine-tailed fox transformed as a bewitching woman, she is known to have served Emperor Toba in the late Heian period. Her remains are said to have become the Sesshoseki (“Killing Stone”), eventually destroyed by monk Genno, and scattered all around. This is the story, based on the Legend of Tamamo no Mae, of the battle between the fox in disguise and an Onmyoji, as well as a tale of tragic love.
